Do this post's views look bought?

Paste a public TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts link. We read its public counts and compare its engagement with typical posts. For a firmer answer, we can watch its views for 48 hours.

Public posts only. We read what anyone can see without logging in.

This check runs in your browser and needs JavaScript. How it works is written out below. 计算方法

Result

  1. We read the post's public page the way a logged-out visitor sees it: views, likes and comments. We never log in, and we read at a gentle pace.
  2. If you ask us to watch, we read the post 7 more times over 48 hours. A sudden late jump in views, or new views that bring almost no likes, is what bought views usually look like; WhichPost's reports flag the same pattern.
  3. Every answer is one of three: looks consistent with bought views, nothing unusual, or can't tell yet. When it points at bought views, it shows a range: the share of views that came without real viewers' engagement.

Can this prove that views were bought?

No. Public counts can't prove it, and we never say anyone cheated. The check shows whether the numbers look like real viewers, with the possible explanations, so you know what to ask the creator.

Which posts can you check?

Public TikTok videos, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Instagram often hides view counts from logged-out visitors, and X always does; then we say so instead of guessing. If a platform asks us to slow down, we stop and say we can't read the post right now.

What do you keep?

The post link and its public counts, for up to 7 days, so your private link keeps working. No account and no email. Your private link is never sent to us in a way that ends up in our logs.

Real views still aren't customers

A clean view curve tells you the views look real. Whether they brought paying customers is a different question: WhichPost measures it from your Stripe or RevenueCat data, with a likely range for every creator and a call to rebook, test again or pause.
